Dear All,
We have received work orders from reputed organisation. They have provided different work orders for different areas and departments. But all other areas comes under same factory premises. Here comes the confusion!!
Do we apply for single labour licence for entire workforce and areas, or we do take separate licenses as per separate work orders.
Please guide me. As per my knowledge, licenses has to be applied separately as per the related work order/agreement.
Regards!
Vikram

Dear Mr. Vikram,
You are right. Licence is contract specific. Hence licence should be obtained based on Form V provided by the company for every contract. It seems that they have registered their various establishments (may be departments also) under CL (R&A) Act. Many Forms V have its own advantages and disadvantages. You may not take licence for contract having less manpower than 20.
Rgds.
