Hi
I have been asked to set up a HR department in my company of 25 employees. I'm not sure where to start. What is the best HRIS to use.
Can I just use excel? Has anyone used google docs for to manage time and attendance?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I prefer excel than google docs. Well that is obviously the personal choice. I would say select the one in which you have immense experience.

Norscro,
The task assigned to you is huge, there are a number of ways to go about it. But the first thing to do is to list out the priority of each activity you wish to establish.
Once you have the list write down a few lines for each item on this list, this will tell you what you activity you wish to perform for each item. This will help you get clarity on each activity.
Review your list and see if they are in proper order, that is, does activity 2 really follow 1 and so on, do this for your entire list make necessary changes and you will end up with the final item/activity list.
Set up a complete by date for each item.
Once you have completed the list I am willing to review it for you and help you towards completing your task.
Best regards
Ronald
