Hi Raja, There should be minimum 20 employees for both PF & ESI registrations. There is also a voluntary registrations for a company where employees are lesser than 20. Regards, Bala.

ESI Act is applicable on C.A. firms. The ESI scheme applies when your firm is located in the notified area and you have 20 eligible employees (i.e. drawing Rs. 10000/- p.m. or less).
The Supreme Court in M.M. Suri Case has clearly mentioned about the same.
