Dear Ganesh,
Thanks for sharing this valuable ppt. When i am reading this, i was feeling that somehow it is related to my office life. Most important was politics- my suggestion related to his is always change the employee place or change responsibility. My mind say 'the game of politics start from the old mind or doing same kind of job from long year'.

Dear Shri Ganesh Ramachandran,

Your presentation is an excellent compendium about politics in organizations.

The last 10 and odd slides are like an icing on the cake, suggesting the remedy for every shortcoming.

Perhaps the following additions might also benefit the readers.

Stephen Covey’s Emotional Bank Account, particularly the fifth deposit of “ Loyalty to people not present” to

avoid slander, should be inculcated across the organization.

Citing a reference from the great Thirukkural,

In the Adhikaram on ‘avoiding slander’ 10 gems can be found (Kural no 181 to 190).

We will see one kural (couplet).

Kann ninru kann ara sollinum Sollarka

Munn ninru pin nokka soll

Speaking harshly face to face is a far better behavior than speaking at one’s back.

Again ‘paiyanil sollamai’ adhikaram mentions ten kurals ( couplets).

As a sample the last one goes thus:

Solluga Sollin Payanudaiya; Sollarka

Sollin Payanila Soll

Speak only useful words. Avoid useless and worthless words.

Some printer’s devil has crept in the first two slides.

Permit me to mention the small corrections.

I am sure that the first half of the sentences give the intended spelling or meaning .

Slide 1 Ugly Politics instead of Ugly Polytics

Slide 2 Every one got their own Agenda instead of Every one got there own Agenda

In slide 1 looking from a lighter vein, Polytics could be even a more dangerous version than Politics as Poly refers to multidimensional !!!

To conclude with a note to Mr Ganesh Ramachandran --

You have really conveyed a very effective message to the readers.

May your good work continue.

I always mention relevant Thirukurual in all my training programs. Thiruvalluvar talked much much about Management and very few people like you know this. Your additions really impressed me much and make me feel why and how I left those things.
Once again I express my elation over your post and thank you very much for the comments and inputs. It was always a pride to receive feed back from people like you.
Regards.

Sir,
your presentation is mind blowing- it englobes the politics of the office and the main culprit like someone says is the boss who intentionally creates these kind of environment thinking that if it is so then they can really lead the staff, which is false. i know a place where the divide and rule policy works, put the incompetent in charge to destabilitize the competent ones. it is sad but what can be done, except either play the game or get out, which is harder in down economic time. thanks again. love it.
