Hi friends,
I m working as a IT Recruiter...My educational Background is B.Com n MBA. i dont have any technical Knowledge....i have attended some interviews in MNC Cos. but i failed in getting thru it. I use to get the feedback from the concern person like not good r very good in technical skills, Technical background is much preferred n some feedback r like i m average in Technologies.

Hi Kavitha,
I use the enclosed document to train the recruiters to get used to technologies. I hope this will help you to some extent. Its always better if you discuss with your Hiring Manager to explain in detail on this expectations so that you ensure that the candidates you send are fit for the role.

If you wish to understand briefly what the technology is about try this in the google search bar:
define : <concept/term>
example: if you want to understand what do you mean by web services type this in the search bar
define : web services (and hit enter)
This will generate a list of definitions and explanation about the term.
Thanks

hi,
what you can do is whenever you get any requirment do google search in that particular skill read it write it and learn it on daily basis if you will do it than only it is posible otherwise it is very difficult task.
in interview genearll technical head will grill you, people who have done BE and tham MBA than it recruitment than ofcourse they will have more knowlege and market is full of them so you have to reah over their by reading more about technologies this is the only solution.
