Hi,
MIght be your management didn't give you the right picture. It happens specially due to generation Gap in the organisations where Senior People who have been associated for long try to humiliate the younger generation employee. It happens in many organisations.
I dont know what exactly was your case however.

I take this opportunity to introduce us as the most trustworthy and reliable life insurance company of India (Golden Peacock Innovative Product / Service Award – 2009, CNBC Awaaz Consumer Awards 2008).

We want to apprise you about an excellent Group Insurance Scheme in lieu of EDLI (Employee's Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme) where your employees get insurance cover of Rs. 62,000 to Rs. 2, 00,000 with Zero cost.

Illustration:

(a) Let us say an employee with Rs. 15,000/- PF accumulation unfortunately dies. Under the EDLI Scheme (1976) of the EPF and MP Act, 1952 his beneficiaries would receive Rs. 15,000/- as death claim payment. But, if the employer subscribes to LIC’s GI Scheme in lieu of EDLI the beneficiaries would receive Rs. 62,000/- as death claim payment.

Our Other Schemes:

· Group Term Insurance Schemes

· Group Gratuity Scheme

· Group Super Annuation Scheme

· Group Savings Linked Insurance Scheme

· Group Leave Encashment Scheme

We would love to meet in person and suggest excellent schemes enhancing the Employee benefits and give you value for the money. Kindly let us know a suitable time to come and meet you.

Warm regards

Jaina Dagha

With due respect to LIC I would like all to know that ever since insurance industry is opened up, monopoly of LIC is over. There r whole lot of similar or better products available with other insurance players in the market. Today all insurance business including that of LIC of India is regulated by IRDA (Insurance regulatory body). Try to get quote of any insurance product from atleast three insurance companies to take an informed decision.
