Anoo & Lavanya thanks tones for understanding the need for these forums.
Feels awesome, that there exists people like you'll who are generous & at the same time know to put things in proper fashion, which indeed encourages buding HR's.
Good Job & keep up this attitude..Evry HR or any mangement professional should know that they are humans first & than later on HR's or other designtions..
People these days have common sense of searching & than putting a question & evn if one doesnt search in citehr( may be coz of short time,n for n number of reasons,)Its good to know that there are still braod-minded people like ull to help professionals by understanding the situations & providing silution in good fashion rather than sarcastic way..I am fortunate i belong to community where people like Ull exists..
Thanks again..
Cheers

Dear Member,

This kind of attitude is not good for this form.First time when I have joined this form I really impressed but as per your comments no fresh person joined this form.I dont now knowlege wise where I can stand and I am not fresher.I am using HR dashword weekly wise my main motive is that how I can improve in this.I really appreciate your comments for fresher. And members - please motivate freshers to do initial search and then approach us, or anyone who is specialized in that area.No one is specialized in HR. I mean to say the function of HR is very intense.

Hi ash u are absolutely right.... i remember when i asked one question on talk to seniors...
when i was new to citehr what is competency mapping...the immidiate reply was, from simhan sir that this topic is already covered...than i realised that first we shud search the cite hr or google search....
sharing other things are ok but sometimes as u said there is a least possibilities to some topics which ur searchin for....or that's not exactly what u want/expect from members..

Dear Rakesh,
If improving the existing one that you are using was the idea, why dont you share the one that you are using, so that people on citehr who are experienced may be able to guide you to improvize on it.
Hope you now understood what I meant - what ever is the initial work done, please let us know. And I hope you searched the link I provided in my post (nothing much but just something linking to downloads in citehr)
And at the same time - defining a "fresher" is really different in my context while I put it across in my previous comment. For exmple - in my case - I am having a stong experience with recruitment, but when it comes to reward management - I am a fresher in that subject.
So rather than asking what is reward management or plainly putting it as - help me improve on it, I'd rather say "Hey - I have worked on one, why dont you suggest if this is okay, or if there is
a better one I could refer to?"
That works!

Dear Slesha,

I have not come across such studies. However, you can try and see if the paper at ScienceDirect - European Management Journal : Commitment and work-related expectations in flexible employment forms: An empirical study of German IT freelancers <link updated to site home> ( Search On Cite | Search On Google ) has any information that suits you.

This was found at media industry + contractual + permanent employee + questionnaire - Google Search=

The papers don't come cheap. However, you can findout the email ID of the authors by doing a search of the web and write to them. Usually they oblige, if you clearly state who you are and why you want a copy of their paper. I have even received whole PhD dissertation copies from a couple of authors.

Best wishes

Hi! Can any one help me providing a fire policy or suggest on how to get it from the internet. I need the format. I am working in a Taiwanese factory in Bangladesh. Didar

I support the views of Narasimhan and Ash. He has been stressing this very often but the new comers wouldn't have read his posts. I understand that many who have completed MBA or PGDBA, directly register here and expect something 'readymade' than 'finding' out on their own. Inside a super market, we search for something and if it's not visible to our eyes we get the help of the Sales girl. Don't we?
No doubt, many of us have travelled this journey from the boarding point as a fresher but posting a query to askfor the full form of 'PF', 'ESI' is something ridiculous. Such questions need not be asked but searched with key words.
When you hit upon the right post and site, your joy is great. By this way you can become an expert by getting into any type of search on any topic, provided you have interest and patience.

Hello Didar,
Usually, the country will have fire regulations that need to be adhered to. And these regulations vary depending upon the nature of the establishment. The way to get it from the internet is to go to www.google.com and use "Fire Policy" as the key word. MOre specific a key word you choose less the number of sites to choose from.
Please let me know how you go on. Like Mohamed Sardhar has quoted, "I am trying to teach you to fish" rather than give you "fish".
Have a nice weekend.

Hi Ash,
I wonder if every thing is available on this site then its over
there should not be any querries/posts here after.if this is
a case we should call citehr as search engine rather then a
discussion forum.:-D
Agreed there is info for each topic here but as querries come up again new suggestions, views, new formats, new additions take place. If suppose 5 formats are there for a particular topic on this
site few more will be added through posting of querries.it will be
a addition in the existing info .
I hope you got my point.

Dear Rajeev,
Your point is all understood. If there are 5 formats available - then all I ask is - read those five formats and get back with better questions!
And probably this will make people create and improve a better one - rather than the existing - agreed right?
And where is the generator of the thread - probably he can share what he has (If that was his idea- to improve what he is doing) so that we can suggest what can be improved.
And people can also make use of it!
Makes sense right?
