i want to manage canteen and security in manufacturing concern. please guide me. i have no idea about do and dont of canteen and security . please help me in this case. what hr person has to do as far as canteen and security are concerned.

As your company comes under Factories Act, 1948, please refer Factories Act and do accordingly.
You have to provide (1) Canteen Accommodation, (2) Good Pottable Water (3) Free Electricity (4) You along with the Management should decide the rates of the food materials to be sold duly signed by you(Management) to be kept in Canteen agreement file and the same should be displayed in Canteen too. (5) Food Handlers Medical Exam to be carried out periodically (6) Sanitation to be maintained properly (7) Instruct to maintain the Food Inspection/tasting Register and it should be signed on daily basis after tasting the food by any one member daily. (8) Clean and Tidy Dining Hall with proper lighting facility to be provided. (9) Please comply all the statutory requirements which required to be maintained.
For security the agency should be registered with Home Ministry (Police commissionerate for running the Security Agency). Please give clear guidelines regarding dos and donts to the security guards. Please instruct the security agency regarding the educational and physical qualification of the security guards requirement. Select the posts and areas which are to be guarded and place your requirement of Guards with your management and after proper approval instruct the number of security personnel requirement to the agency. Fix the Salary and PF, ESI Deduction and ensure the payment to the concerned authority regularly. Ensure the regular and timely payment to the Security Personnel deployed at your premises.
