Dear Avs,
Thanks for this quote.
Stress can be a good thing, it can motivate, energize and help us do our best work positively.
But unrelieved work stress can lead to burnout. This is characterised by a lack of energy, emotional exhaustion, job dissatisfaction, negativity, reduced resistance to illnesses, increased work absenteeism, poor job performance and isolation.
Try your best to balance work and life.
Best regards,
John

Dear All,
I am working as an HR in a Manufacturing company, we have some marketing executives working in the field.
they prepare their daily expense report, and sent to us fortnightly.
we are following some procedures to approve those expenses from Management, but now mgt wants to change the process & want their least involvement in process.
but due to some extra or miscellenous charges nobody can approve thoe charges except mgt.
Is thr any other way to do the procedure?
Best regards,
Kajal

HR QUOTE OF THE DAY(14-02-2012)-AVS's desk
A good analysis.
How does an antidote for the above look like?

Do what you like ( you should be lucky, if you fit in this category)
Like what you do ( Start developing a liking for the job that you do)
Is it difficult to understand? then try the following:
Do what you like ( Westerners Love and Marry)
Like what you do ( Indians Marry and Love)
Incidentally today being Valentine's day, it is a happy coincidence 14 Feb !!!!
Thank you AVS for posting a thought provoking message,
V.Raghunathan, Navi Mumbai
