Dear Seniors,
Need your advise for below case -
An employee is due for confirmation of 1st of Oct. However his confirmation appraisal form is submitted to the HR by approving authorities after 1st of Oct. For example it is received on the 15th of Oct by HR.
In this case can the confirmation letter date mentioned be of current one ie. 15th Oct or it needs to be back dated.
Pls note - I am referring to the date mentioned on the letter and not the confirmation date which is mentioned on the letter as well.
Awaiting inputs. Thanks in advance.
Rgds,
SML.

You can put the current date and the confirmation could be effective from 1 st Oct
This is valid as we have some reasons to release the letter but the confirmation effect is from 1 st oct which is generally accepted

Nothing as the effective date is 1 st Oct , then automatically from the date he is confirmed employee irrespective of the letter dated. if you are particular about , then you could also put the same date of letter as well as the effective date
