Dear Please correct me if I am wrong, but in my opinion, the maximum you can contribute in VPF is 8% of (Basic + DA) i.e. {12% mandatory + 8% VPF = 20%} dsv

Hi,
Max Limit for VPF is 12%. People who are paying more will face problems during withdrawal.
Thanks,

Hi, If employee would like to contribute voluntary provident fund he can do so up to maximum 12% on his basic +da. However, there is no obligation on the part of employer to contribute on VPF opted by employee. The employee has to give his consent for VPF and same has to be forwarded to EPFO for processing the same.

There is no limit for VPF, employee can contribute 100% from BASIC and DA. Checked with EPFO Bommansandra Branch Enforcement officer.
