Hi HR. Shah,
"Increment after the completion of probation period", whether this was communicated to you thru verbal or thru any document like offer letter or else defined in your company's HR policy???
If it is a verbal communication, then you are helpless....................

Hi Rashmi,
Ya! I too agree that its purely a management's decision. But if the same is on a paper then we can approach legally.
I have done it in my earlier company and succeeded also. I don't say that it is always possible to approach legally and succeed.

Hi ,
For getting the desired increment ,kindly communicate the same in writing with your higher authority about the same and show them the development and your achievements in your work period and also about the discussions at the time of joining that you will get increment after six month and with whom.

It all depends on you performance during these 7 months tenure. If you r confident that your manager is really happy with your work, you can talk to him / her one-to-one in a professional way. There is NO legal way to it..
