Dear Rajiv

HRM is one of the wings of the Administation. Administration comprises of wide range of activities including Human Resources Management. If you once turn to Administration, you need not worry, you will definetely have chances to get back to HR. In some organizations/firsm, Administration wing takes up the Human Resource Activities. What you need to do, is to develop your skills in Administrative activities as well as Human Resource Management functions, and try to focus your attention towards HR Policies while in Administration. As far as my sefl is concerned, I am a retired Gazetted Officer of Education Department, and I actively involved in the Administrative matters, besides HR activities of the Department. I used to develop my interest and enthusiasm towards HR activities of my Department though I am actively involved in the Administrative activities. As far as my knowledge goes, every HR Manager must acquaint with the Administrative polcies and programmes, and every Administrative Officer must acquaint with the HR Policies and Planning.
