[QUOTE=simmy2009;840760]Dear Members

Here are few more questions my side-

1. Which is your worst boss, under which you have previously worked?

My first boss - because I thought he was a nightmare but not today :-) He taught me the basics, I am so thankful to my "most worse boss"

2. Tell us the situation when your work or efforts were criticized.

When I started of as a fresher - I gave my opinions to the recruotment team for new methods. SInce I was a fresher, the team criticised me saying that I am new and cant suggest.

However, before leaving my first job I was tagged by my boss as "Creative & bubblin with energy - that made me happy"

3. Could you have done much better in your last job? Maybe, had I known the existing issues much before I started gto work on a few problems :-)

4. How do you consider starting new for new business?
That seems like a challenge to me - but I would do that only if I hold extensive experience and more exposure in risky scenaiors. I hate jumping into conclusions just because I see teh adventurouse side in it lacking details on actual facts

5 On a rate of 10 rate me as an Interviewer.

I am sorry that I have to rate you on a scle - you will not believe me if I rate you 10/10. But on the basis of Poor average Good Excellent, I would say "Excellent". (If he asks why/.... I would thank him for the patience and for the interesting questions to probe more into a person - like wanting to know "risk taking ability through asking about new business"

6. If you win the title of 'Koun Banega Karodpati' will you still work with us.

Sure - I would only think of multiplying assets ;-) Jokes apart - I dont think I will be satisfied with just the money - if that was the case I would not be looking at better challenging opportunities.

7. Tell us something negative about our company that you have heard or read.

I am afraid - but is there anything going on like that? :-) well, I would look into facts and reality than just mere gossip. Cos if tomorrow someone talks bad abt me - I owuld want you to get into facts before reacting on what was in the story

8. Try to sell me this stapler. - Sir it will fix your documents together, and has a neat holder that does not pressurize your finger. I will also give you a pack of staple pins for free along with this stapler. And no one apart from us - offer a free demo on "Using this product."

9. Do you have guts to fire people.

My guts will talk only with facts and reason.

10. Aren't you over qualified for this position.

Am I? I am sorry I did not gauge myself properly, but could you please tel me why I should look at a higher profile that this?

Thanks starting this thread.

I am not telling about the toughest question faced by me, but a real incident which happened last day.

I conduct interview for many firms as an outsider. On one of such interviews, which was on last thursday, (20.08.09) I asked a boy ( he was not very smart, but good, completed his graduation and had a good look ) that what is his career goal.

I don't know what was wrong with my question, but all of a sudden he took my hand a give a loud weep in the midst of weep, he said, he don't have anything like that. Then I asked him very softly, whether he understood my question he said yes.

Then I talked to the boy outside, came to know about his problem. Though not selected for the specific firm, I have given him some courage from my side. From that day to till, he is calling me on a regular basis, and saying about the progress he is having.

It was rather tough for me because a person sitting in front of me was crying. But now, I am very happy that I can atleast help me in setting a career goal.

I think the answer would depends on the position you are applying. For example... if i would be applying for a post of a manager - the main work scope would be managing ... I would take that time to think and manage my work. This way i can manage and organize my work to achieve quality result and avoid any backlog..
if marketing post, ... i would take that time to reconnect with old my customer and find new channel while at it.....
