Hi All,
How would you design a Decision Support System (DSS) for HR in your organization?
Do you think computerizing the HR processes would speeden up the decision making?
Do you think HR can provide crucial inputs to the top-management and also that by placing a DSS, do you think it would improve time and quality?
Is anybody working on this?
Kindly explain.

Decision Supports Systems are necessary to improve the HR processes within the organization.
Depending upon the size of the company, cost you can buy products or build your own.
The following analysis could be done once the systems are running
Recruitment : Analysing Recruitment Source Effectiveness, Identify Recuitment Needs.
Compensation: Compensation Profiling at a group basis.Determine if you are compensating top performers adequately.
Training : Determine Training Effective,Training Cost Fitting into budjet.
Workforce Administration: Attrition Analysis and HeadCount Reports in Different Views including Business Unit ,Departments,Locations.
Systems can help you to make proactive decision.
