Dear Members, I have been searching for a query on Sandwich leaves over Google, Cite Hr, Etc,. Unable to find my query . I hope some one will clarify here.
Can we consider unpaid days for sandwich leaves?
We are a 5 day working company and we do not pay for Sat & Sun. Paid working days for month are 22 or 23 depends on month.
Now can I apply Sandwich leave policy here who applies leave on Friday and Monday, where can I consider Sat & Sun under leaves.
how ever leaves are paid days and here we are not paying for weekends.

sandwich leave is purely dependent on the relations between employer-employee and company policy.
in 5 days working module no absent is permitted either on friday or monday, and if employee does so, the 2 days leave ( sat/sun) is marked not payable, in usual course
before making any such leave plan the employee has to discuss the same with Senior management , specially with HR
