Hi Farah,
Earned leave will be calculated on basic salary only. Formula to calculate EL is Total Basic Salary divided by Total Number of Months he worked multiplied by number of earned leaves divided by thirty days.
For Example:
120000 15
-------- * ------ = 4286
14 30

Hai
The Formula to calculate EL is Total Basic Salary divided by Total Number of Months he worked multiplied by number of earned leaves divided by thirty days which given here.
Please clear me thirty days or only 26 days because payable days are only 26 other 4 days are holidays. Are it depends on company paying system???

Hai,
The formula to calculate Earned Leave is Basic Salary divided by 26 i.e. payable days multiplied by total earned leave
Eg: 5000
------- * 15 =2884.6
26
Please clear me is it necessary to have number of months to calculate earned leave?? The payable days is alone not enough to calculate earned leave???
