Hi. Is an employee who has been with the company for more than the probation period of six months considered permanent even if confirmation letter is not givn?
And then if employee leaves on medical grounds and immobility because of an accident, should we deduct salary for not serving the notice period?
Ours is a proprietorship and we are covered under the shops & establishment act, Mumbai.
Thks, Kaye

Hi,
I gone through your query,it is obivious that deducting the notice period for the employee. Who ever it is the person needs to be there in the job for atleast one month until other person taking his job or his profile. This is what the motto behind the notice period. notice period would be dertermined by their post they holding when they were resigning.
