Registration under U.P. Shop and Establishment Act
We are authorised service center providing services to the customers of LG Electronics India Limited for their Mobile Phones. The contract is renewable every year by the LGEIL.

Labour officer visited our office and issued notice for non-registering of our service centre under u p shop & establishment act. He also sought salary register, attendence register etc for inspection and asked to deposit Rs.250/- in treasury and visit his office.

As per my knowledge go, we are not required to register under the said act, as we have only 4 persons getting more than Rs. 4000/- p.m. Moreover, we are working on behalf of LGEIL.

Please guide us.

regards

Anil
