I am working in a limited company's branch, which having HO in Chennai. Though the branch was opened last year ESI for branch office employees not registered yet. but they are keep detecting salary in the name of ESI.
how can i make use of that money from my employer. i hope ESI can not be refunded.

One of our employee is having appendices problem & taken treatment from ESI.
He was hospitalized for 7 days & Dr. has said him to take 15 days rest.
Now,please let me know stepwise process further to claim salary & all.

Greetings for the day!
With reference to ur ESIC covered employee's, please do the following:
1) Ask Insured Person to obtain sick certificate/Fitness certificate from concern doctor of ESIC dispensary and submit a copy to you for marking ESI leave in his attendance record at your end. Also, advice IP to confirm from BRANCH OFFICE-ESIC that they are also getting copy of sick certificate/fitness certificate from ESIC dispensary.
2) Salary, against sick period (i.e. as per rules) may be obtain from Branch Office-ESIC.
3) After fitness, all certified medicine bills with doctor's prescription documents process to claim through the reimbursement Form. The completely filled in & attested Form may be submitted to ESIC dispensary for verification & reimburse the expenses.
