Hi Ankita,

Yashesh has cover everything..... if your interested in admin,

1st of all please note it is not 9 to 5 job. U should be aware with lots of govt.. activities, laws, quick thinkers, should have wonderful contacts in markets, should be aware with each & every corner of the office & most important is it is thank less job etc...

If you are still interested than please discuss with your HR, spent some time in Admin department, start doing some small job, like checking vendor bill, be a part of admin meeting with vendors, Practicle knowledge is the most important thing in admin.... How to be a good negotation is the quality & you will learn with your practical knowledge only... It is not available in any of the books.

So my suggestion is to take permission of yr hR, spent atleast 2 hrs in a day in admin dept & start leaning with small small things & observe what how admin dept functions.

Don't get scared, I don't mean to scared you, but is wonderful department, I take of my office like my home, It is wonderful exp to work in admin depart, it is the most important & hear of the organization.

Welcome to admin world.

Regards,

Jayshree
