This is Sreekanth, working as Executive-HR for a private limited company
I am working in Head Office(Hyderabad). We have our HR-Head as authorised person. What my question is,
Do we need to have authorised person for PF at company branches also? or we can directly operate their PF transactions from Head Office.

Dear Sreekanth,
If your branch offices are having a separate PF codes from RPFC and if they are remtting PF contributions and submitting returns separately for branch employees only, then it is advisable that someone from branch office should be made authorised signatory for PF matters for branch. But if your company is operating centrally from HO for all PF matters under one PF code then there is no need for an authorised signatory from branches. An official of the company who is already registered with RPFC as an authorised signatory can authorise another official of the Company as an authorised signatory by writing a letter and endorsing the name and signature of the new authorised official of the Company.

It depends on your requirements, otherwise no need to have authorised person for PF at company

hi
if your office is operating with only one pa code (with out any subcode) person who has been authorised by your company can transact the business like signing in form 5, form 10 and other documents. it is better to have a single pa code without sub codes so that effective control on pf matters is possible.

Dear Sreekanth ,
if all the employees PFdeduction takes place from HEad office PF number then u need not for other authorised signatory, or if u have separate regional office PF number then u need to submitt the name of signatory authority .

Hello,
The names of the authorized signatory/signatories should be given to EPF office. Only those will be signing the PF forms. The company can include more than one person as authorized to sign the PF forms. But only one person's signature is required on the PF forms.
