Can any one tell that Maternity benifit can be extended for birth of how many children and where it has been mentioned becasue i have gone through the act but i am not able to find that a femal employee can only availed maternity benifit only for the birth of two children. so please any one senior can give any rule or section where it is mentioned.

Yes, it is not mentioned in the Act on number of children. Can any one cite the relevant provision?

If we go through all of the benefits that are given to every employee in I.T. act or Govt. Notifications, we observe that the benefits are given to the employee having upto 2 children. Hence for maternity benefit shall be given up to 2 children only there after no leave or benefits shall be granted.
