Hi I have 5.5 years of experiences in Software development. But One problem is that , I have completed my MCA from IGNOU which is in Distance mode. So i am going to join one Branded company in mumbai. So i have a fear that , if they will accept my MCA degree at the time of joining. But at the time of Interview they have not asked anything regarding my MCA also i have not said anything to them regarding the Distance education. But according to their Advertisement, they were only asking for any graduation. So what should i do, if they will not accept my MCA degree ? . Please Advice me i am going to join this company after 10 days.

ITs depends on the mind set of particular HR person or Compamy Policy.
As an HR I feel Experience will be counted if degree is distance learning mode, Now a days distance learning is gaining momemtum and I feel its absolutely fine if a candidate doing job and studing at open school.
I want to request all HR people donot be biased give same opportunities to all students. And judge them on knowledge and attitude and willingness to work hard.
I have seen many full time candidate who done their project on copy paste method.
Distance learning of persons who have relevant experience in their field show their willingness to grow and to compete with others.
There are few bluffers as well but as an HR we should give all a fare deal.
Dear HR's
Please choose the right people not the mode of learning.

Anirban
