Very helpful and informative. I suggest everybody may give it a reading so as to know how to get dressed up each morning instead of opening the wardrobe and wearing whatever comes to notice. Thanks for the document, sir.

Well, just a short write-up on the same subject. I did not read the document attachment posted, as at home, there is some problem with my PC, and Word files don't open.

But this is what my experience tells: my real experience:

When I was working in Organization X, initially for the interview, we all wore professional clothes and tried to look very professional, though we may not have been.

On the first day, I did not know anything about Company X's culture and my job nature, so I wore professional clothes.

The next day and the following week, I observed the people in the organization who worked with me, how they came, how they dressed; they all wore professional clothes, i.e., not even one person wore jeans on any day.

Then, I analyzed my job profile, who is coming to meet me, etc.

I wore non-casual clothes to the office every day.

The same thing happens in each office when someone from the head office or a VIP is about to visit; everyone wears their ID cards, which normally lie in their drawers.

So, as per the situation, like a chameleon, we have to behave.

In my current organization, I observed and concluded that my job involves a high level of communication, coordination, but that is all over the phone and emails.

There is no one in my office, except my colleagues, who interact with me. So every day, I wear what comes to my mind, and there is no one to ask me what I wear or should not wear. So, I can wear jeans daily, without any issue.

So first, scrutinize the situation and then decide what you are going to wear.
