Dear All,

I am currently working on a First-Time Travel Allowance Policy, which should ideally cover the expenses incurred during international travel, such as winter wear, baggage, etc. If anybody has an existing policy, I request you to forward it to me.

Looking forward to receiving all your inputs.

Thanks,
Malini

Dear Malini,

You can allow a kit allowance for new clothing when going abroad. This benefit is applicable once every 3 years, and the amount can be fixed according to the employee's grade. Additionally, a special allowance can be provided for the employee while they are staying abroad, and they are also permitted to receive their Indian salary.

Furthermore, you may grant them travel fare to India along with paid leave for a specific number of days. Additionally, ensure a suitable mode of travel is arranged from the airport to their native place.

With regards, L. Kumar
