My query is I was selected for XXX Agro Pharma (XXX Laboratory Pvt Ltd Mumbai). They gave me an offer letter and took my original board certificate for verification. However, after 5 days, I informed them that I am not joining their company and requested the return of my original document. Unfortunately, they are ignoring me and not giving it back.
So, what can I do? Please help me.

Hi, holding onto an original certificate is illegal. When you submit your original certificate for verification, you should collect it back immediately. If someone refuses to return your original certificate, you can ask for it back, and if they still refuse, you can inform them that you will lodge a complaint with the police. Hopefully, they will comply and return the certificate.
