My manager told me on 3rd June that the company has no work to give me, so I should look for a job somewhere else. They even put my salary on hold without informing me prior to the situation. When asked, they said, "We had a talk that we don't have any work to give you." What are my rights in this regard, and what should/can I do? I am eligible for fair compensation.

You have the right to receive the salary owed to you, as well as payment for the notice period. They are pressuring you to resign in order to avoid this expense. In your response, clearly state that you will not be resigning and refer to the previous discussions. You may also indicate that you will consider legal options if your rights are not respected.
