Resolving Incorrect Last Working Day Issue in EPF Portal Due to Employers Error - CiteHR

My previous employer, IBM, marked my last working day as the 28th of November, although it was listed as the 28th of October in my EPF portal. They initially recorded my experience end date as the 28th of November, but I had them correct it, and I have received the updated document. However, they have not made any changes in the PF portal.

Now, the next company I am looking to switch to is claiming that I have been moonlighting for one month because, from the 28th of October, I joined a new company. They are not accepting my relieving letter.

What should I do?

Hi, An official relieving letter from the previous employer is the authentic proof for proper relieving and the relieving date. If your current employer is not accepting the same, try to get a certified letter from your past employer certifying your Last Working Day (LWD) with them and submit the same to the current employer.
