In our organization based in Odisha, we are providing VDA to permanent workers as per the CPI index. Our base year was previously 1960, but we have now transitioned to the base year 2001. I am seeking guidance on how to convert the existing calculations from the base year 1960 to 2001. Can anyone please guide me?

Consumer Price Index Base Year Changes
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) base year is updated periodically. If I am not mistaken, the current latest base year is 2016 = 100. The linking (conversion) factor from the 2001 = 100 base year to the 1982 = 100 base year is 5.12, and from the 2001 = 100 base year to the 1960 = 100 base year is 4.74.
The linking factor from the 2016 = 100 base year to the 2001 = 100 base year is 2.46.
