In our Organization based in Odisha, we are providing VDA to permanent workers as per CPI Index. Now our base year is 1960. Now we have changed to base year 2001. I want to convert the existing calculation from base year 1960 to 2001. Can anyone pl guide me.

Consumer Price Index Base year is changed from time to time. If I am not wrong the present latest base year is 2016 = 100. Linking (conversion) factor from 2001 = 100 base year to 1982 = 100 base year is 5.12 and that of 2001 = 100 base year to 1960=100 base year is 4.74.
The linking factor from 2016 =100 base year to 2001=100 base year is 2.46.
