Question: Ensuring the Authenticity of My Relieving Letter
I want to be sure that my relieving letter from my latest company is genuine.
Reason for Doubt
1. I was hired as an Interpreter even though I failed the test, which was the first criterion to get on the floor.
2. After 3 months, they asked me to leave based on a test I had failed 3 months prior.
Now, the relieving letter they sent me is different from the other relieving letters. The date of joining and the relieving date are mentioned; however, the letter does not have a company stamp, and the ink is faded.
Please help me with some insights on this.
Thanks

Authenticity of Relieving Letters
Normally, the relieving letter has to be on the letterhead of the establishment providing the details. If you suspect the authenticity of the relieving letter, it is advisable not to use it elsewhere. However, if the letter has been formally given to you, there is less chance of it being spurious. Each organization has its own way of doing things, so it would be helpful to determine if the same practice is followed here.
