I have to design and develop a training program for my internship project. I know the ADDIE model but haven't used it in a real-life project or work. Can someone please share a real-life example of the whole process or a project report from their past work? I have to create a project report. My area of the project is manufacturing industries.

Designing a Training Program for Your Internship

A training program for what exactly? Every member here works in different industries, and in training, one size does not fit all. Your task is to design a training program for the organization where you are doing your internship. What other people are doing in training is irrelevant; they don't work in your organization.

You said you know the ADDIE model. Then follow it. You have the answers there. Do a training needs assessment to find the knowledge gaps—as this is just an internship project, focus on one or two areas. Develop a training program based on that assessment. Design an implementation program to deliver the training. Design an assessment method to evaluate how the trainees will meet the requirements. Design an evaluation method for the training program so that management can judge its effectiveness on productivity.

Then you can write your project report on the process. If in doubt, talk to your tutor/professor and seek his guidance and clarification.

Thank you, John, Sir, and Kumar, Sir. It is a garment manufacturing company. My project title is effective production planning through training intervention. The gap was product delivery delay due to improper production planning and communication.

It is for my academic course in training and development. Due to COVID, I am using online mode for the internship. I don't have much networking with any trainer who is good in TNA. Mostly, they had experience in the delivery part or content design. I don't know how much charges people take for helping in such a case.
