I was employed in a company for 3 years. As operations got suspended, employees were given a notice and informed to look out for opportunities. The Date of Exit was marked as per the last day of working for all employees. After 2 months, I rejoined, and contributions were made to the same PF account. Now, in the EPF Passbook, there are 2 months of gap in contributions. Every time I claim EPF & EPS, it gets rejected for the same reason "Gap in Contribution." How can this be sorted out?

EPFO does not know if you were serving or on suspension. Your contribution has to be deposited if you are shown on the job. If you left the job, you must be exited out from EPF. Please check the ECR of those two months. Approach HR for resolving this gap issue.
