Now, we have started another unit and are attempting to register under ESI and PF with the same PAN, as we remain a proprietary firm. ESI has allotted a code number, but EPF is displaying a message indicating that the PAN is already linked to another establishment.
Could anyone please guide me on how to register under EPF?

Hi Hanuma, please provide some more details. Have you registered the second unit in the same name or a different name? Is your branch dealing in the same business? Are both units located in the same place? How about your GST and PT registrations? Are you accounting and assessing transactions in the one and only firm for IT returns?

Thank you for your reply. We have registered our unit with the same name but added Unit II. Both are in different locations, and we are dealing with the same business. GST and PT registrations are different. Please await your reply.

One proprietor one code for epf. You can add on your various units for other units in other states you can open sub codes.
