I have been working for the last 4 months with this company, and we were told that the salary cycle of this company is from the 15th to the 20th. However, after joining, we got to know that the salaries are paid at the end of the month or later every time. I joined this company on 15th Jan, and until now, only the salary for the first 15 days of Jan has been credited. I wanted to ask, is this okay? Most of us would have received their March salary by now, or they would be getting it in some days, but we haven't received our February salary yet.

Concerns About Delayed Salary Cycle

Obviously, this delayed cycle is not okay. Is the cash flow of the company slow or irregular? One needs to know. Signs of delayed salaries, contrary to the law, are an indication of a weak company or poor management. Either you should read the signs and accordingly look around for alternative jobs.

Evaluating Work Engagement

Are you fully engaged with work, or are there times when there is no work? Analyze carefully and look for opportunities elsewhere in a discreet fashion as jobs are scarce. Meanwhile, upgrade skills, knowledge, etc.

Yes, I think cash flow can be slow as the company is a channel partner in real estate. However, my concern is getting our salary late every time isn't okay. So, what can we do? Is there any legal action we can take against them?
