Dear Sir/Madam,

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government has announced changes to the employee and employer contributions, which will now be covered by the government. In this regard, when creating the challan, do we still need to manually pay the administrative charges? Your clarification on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

The government will pay the employee provident fund (EPF) contribution for both the employer and the employee (12 percent each) for the next three months, as announced by the Finance Minister. This provision is only applicable for establishments employing up to 100 employees, around 90 percent of whom earn ₹15,000 per month.

Dear Sir/Madam,

In our company, there are around 57 employees working. However, 50 employees are receiving wages below Rs. 15,000 per month, and 7 employees are receiving wages above Rs. 15,000 per month. My question is, in the PMGKR scheme, two questions are asked: how can I fill up the form, and how should I file for both categories of employees?

Thank you.
