Dear All,

Please guide me on the following terms:

MIS - Management Information System (This is related to various reports that management might need to make decisions. These reports vary from department to department).

MSW - Master's in Social Work (It is considered equivalent to an MBA in HR).

SAP-HR - Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing, related to HR (This involves the automation of some HR functions, such as employee data management and payroll).

Regards

Hi,

MIS stands for Management Information System. MIS typically refers to a computer-generated or printed report on a specific task. For example, if your company requests a comparative study of experience versus salaries within the organization, the work you do to present this information to management, including your views, comparisons, and statements, is considered MIS.

MSW represents a Master's degree in Social Work. Social work encompasses various areas beyond just human interactions, such as caring for animals. Today, MSW degrees are highly sought after in human resources, particularly in Organizational Development (OD), operations, and generalist roles that involve frequent interactions with employees and external parties.

SAP is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software that is currently in high demand among growing industries. For more detailed information, please refer to my previous post on the following link: <link no longer exists - removed>
