Form 16 and Full and Final Settlement Discrepancies
My Form 16 from my previous organization states that the tax deduction is Rs. 6,619. I joined a new company on 27th May 2019.
The Full and Final document from the previous organization states that the Standard Deduction is Rs. 50,000 and the Deduction from Income under section 80C is Rs. 10,581.
I have reached out several times to my previous employer's Exit HR. However, they are not providing a clear response. Can someone please explain if this is okay or if there is actually an issue with the Form 16? Should it reflect the Full and Final settlement deductions? Please help!
