Dear All,

I have a query. We are a large establishment, and many contractors are working on specialized nature of jobs, some outside the factory premises.

In both the above cases, whether PF and ESIC are applicable or not? If yes, how can we emphasize this point to contractors to comply?

Working inside or outside factory premises does not affect the employment status, as the payment is reflected in the employer's accounts. Therefore, the employer must take all measures to ensure compliance.
