Two frogs had fallen into a jar of buttermilk. Both were frantically trying to come out of the jar but since there was no solid foundation underneath, they could not push themselves up. After a few attempts, one of the frogs gave up and died. The other frog, being a diehard optimist, went on trying. After some time a marvelous miracle happened and the persistent frog came out of the jar. How did it happen?
The desperate attempts of the frog served as a churning of the buttermilk, and there emerged butter. The churned butter became a solid foundation for the frog to push itself out of the jar! This can be the story of each one of us.
Problems in life can be overcome with persistence and determination. Persistence does not mean repetition. It is the quality of continuing steadily despite problems or difficulties.
Creative persistence and looking for alternatives will help us face many problems in life and lead us to the path of success.
