One of my employees had gone on leave because of a family issue. While on the supposed leave, he went ahead and joined another company wherein he submitted a fabricated relieving letter from my company - including a rubber stamp, letterhead, and Director's signature too.

How can I proceed with this situation? Can we file a complaint against him based on forgery with company documents? Please guide me.

First, you require proof. Only if you have proof can you do something about the matter.

Get in touch with the other company discreetly.

Once you have verifiable and documented proof, you can act legally against your ex-employee.
