Dear all,

My name is Naurin. I completed my B.Sc. (Chemistry) in 2012 and an MBA (HR) in 2014. After completing my MBA, I started my own business and ran it for 2.5 years. After 2.5 years, due to some personal reasons, I closed that business.

Meanwhile, I volunteered for a charitable project in school and worked part-time as an administrator/counselor.

Right now, I am looking for an HR job. Can someone suggest how I should prepare for an interview?

Preparing for an HR Interview

You should start by removing dust from all those textbooks first. Second, do a serious prayer. Third, go through the basic theories and objectives of HR—what it stands for and what the various processes are. Also, try to recollect and review several times your nature of work in previous job roles and whether any of them relate to HR. Speak from the heart and be truthful. Answer questions in an honest way. Rehearse yourself several times about possible questions and your intended answers. Having studied MBA in HR, you should know what a personal interview is about, likely questions, and possible answers. Prepare yourself to face unexpected questions and answer smartly.

Best wishes
