Hi All,

Can anyone please suggest to me the extent of leaves that can be encashed in Bangalore, Karnataka state? What is the policy guide? Also, can anyone share with me the 2017 Karnataka leave policy?

Please let me know whether it is a factory or an establishment because the law differs. In both cases, the said laws state the maximum accumulation limit. However, if the management of an organization likes to fix a higher limit, it can do so for five years. But they should encash the number of days above the fixed limit then and there. The balance of available leave should be encashed at the time of resignation, retrenchment, or retirement. The state leave policy cannot be changed every year.
