According to the Employment Act 1955, employers must observe a minimum of 11 days of gazetted public holidays, including the 5 compulsory public holidays. For the other 6 days, is it compulsory to pay according to the public holiday rate, or can they be replaced with another day if the employee works on the public holiday?
