Dear Sir/Madam, I am currently working in a company with 1.2 years of experience. After submitting my resignation, I am being asked to pay an amount of 1.5 lakhs. I have no need for an experience letter, but after consulting various people, it has been implied that the company will be sending me court notices, and it will affect my visa chances during background checks. Will it really have an effect? I work for a well-known MNC. Does the bond hold any value if I don't need an experience or relieving letter? Even if I am blacklisted from the company, it holds no significant difference to me.

Thanks and regards, Akshay

Understanding Bond Money and Resignation Implications

When you resigned, were you not aware of the bond money? What were the terms and conditions of your appointment? What was your role in the company? Was any special training imparted to you at the company's expense? Getting blacklisted is not good, whether it makes a difference to you immediately or in the long run. Consider how to reconcile your wishes and the company's demands.

You need to provide more information about your job terms and conditions, the laid-down resignation processes, etc., before suggestions can be made on how to address the problem.
