Understanding EDLI and Admin Charges in EPF
EDLI is the insurance on PF. The employer has to pay 0.5% as a premium. In return, the nominee of a deceased member will receive 24 times the salary as compensation/sum assured. For handling EDLI, EPF will charge an admin charge of 0.01%. The expansion of the term EDLI has already been posted by you.
