Understanding ER Returns Under the Employment Exchange Act
Under the Employment Exchange Compulsory Notification of Vacancies Act 1959, the employer is liable to submit certain periodical returns to the Authority under this Act. ER I is a return to be submitted every quarter, whereas ER II is to be submitted biennially, meaning every two years. The format of the forms is attached.
