Please obtain Form VI-B (Completion of Work Certificate - Post/Pre defect liability period) from the client. Prepare Form VI-A (Commencement/Completion of Job Certificate) from the side of the contractor. Attach the Xerox copy of the security deposit Callahan initially paid (based on the number of workmen engaged).
Next, prepare a covering letter stating that the work is completed, hence requesting a refund of the labor security deposit. Address this to the License Issuing Authority and attach the original Labor License, Xerox copy of the Security Deposit paid by Callahan, Form VI-A, and Form VI-B.
Hand over the documents to the License Issuing Authority Office and wait for further instructions. You will receive information from the Treasury/Licensing Authority on how to collect the refund. They will issue a check after deducting an amount ranging from Rs. 100 to Rs. 150.
