Hi friends,

I have a small doubt. Do HR professionals also get an opportunity from the company to go abroad on deputation, or is it only employees working in software companies who enjoy this opportunity?

Kindly reply.

Hi,

Based on my knowledge, it is primarily the software engineers who frequently get the opportunity to go onsite. However, companies like Accenture send their HR managers for onsite recruitment as well. This practice is limited to only a few companies.

I have travelled extensively, been transferred within HR . But that depends on the company you are with. It also means that your qualifications & experience are required and transferable.

Many HR professionals from India are working in the Middle East. I am not sure whether all of them are qualified, underqualified, or without any qualifications, but they do work as HR. This is a subjective question; it depends on your fate whether you may be a good, qualified HR, but some fake HR enjoy positions abroad just because they manage "Wasta" (Nepotism or Favoritism).

    Indians are unpredictable people.

    Dear Captain Cook,

I fully agree with you. For a long time, I have been trying to make these people understand, though I don't tell them bluntly that they are fraudulent HR professionals who have secured their jobs based on favoritism, beauty, etc. If you could browse through my posts, you would observe that I have consistently expressed my doubts whenever someone introduces themselves as a Senior HR Executive or HR Manager yet asks questions like a 10th grader. I immediately question their education, experience, and feel sorry for the employees who are unfortunate to have such incompetent HR personnel venting their anger on them.

Another issue is that HR professionals who obtained their positions not based on skill are often arrogant in their exercise of power. Whenever an employee-related issue arises, their only responses are harsh - issuing warning letters, termination letters, withholding salary, etc. They lack common sense. Unfortunately, in India, this trend of inequality will persist as long as job opportunities are given based on favoritism and deceit rather than on genuine skill and knowledge.

Many times when I post, I receive responses claiming that we are here to help, share knowledge, and learn together. However, when individuals in executive roles label themselves as professionals, it is a mockery of the term "professional" as they exhibit nothing more than amateur behavior. Their lack of HR fundamentals raises serious doubts about their credibility and leaves one wondering how they manage to survive in their roles and earn high salaries annually despite possessing zero HR knowledge, while other qualified individuals struggle to secure jobs.

    Hi Ravi,

People do not appreciate the truth. Yes, many unfit and unqualified people are wandering around us, projecting themselves as smarter than others because they deceive or, you can say, manage everything to become successful. We must acknowledge that such unfit or unqualified individuals, who are so-called B-School products or anything else, only lead this world to economic depression and downturn. Only these people create chaos.
