Dear Sir,

I'm working as an admin executive and pursuing my MBA through distance learning. In the 3rd semester, we are required to complete an internship in any company. I have a question regarding whether I can do my internship in my current company. One of my colleagues mentioned that since it's a construction company, if I intern here, I may only receive job offers in the construction industry. On the other hand, if I intern at a software company, I may have more opportunities to receive job offers from software companies. Can you please confirm whether this information is accurate in the industry in terms of where I should do my internship?

Thank you.

Hello Siri,

That's probably the scenario, which industry you choose first may be the first job or internship. It likely happens to get further opportunities in the same field, considering the experience and betterment of the organization.

If you have already decided on your career in any particular industry, try to get an internship in the same field. Don't worry about small or mid-level positions; just get the experience, which will definitely help you with future opportunities. Practical knowledge always counts a lot.

All the best!

Hi, I'm Sridevi. Presently, I'm doing my MBA in HR and want to join the banking sector for recruitment. I am a little bit confused about which bank exam to write for private bank jobs and also for government bank jobs. I would like to know the entry-level positions in the banking sector. Can you provide me with details about the process?
